About Wislocki Music
Hi, I’m Cressida and I worked as a professional musician for many years in both classical and pop settings, with orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic and BBC Philharmonic and alongside artists including Madness, Muse, Ella Eyre and Nitin Sawhney among others. One of my best memories is performing on the main stage at Glastonbury!
I like to draw on my experience as a musician to create an experience that really moves people the way only live music can. Each person and each event is unique and I like to match the best act and playlist to each one.
With a lot of scary things happening in the world, I think we all need an escape sometimes and music gives us just that.
Besides my work as director of Wislocki Music, I’m a mum of two (very red haired) children and two cats (Patch & Sid). I’m a trustee for the music education charity The Szilvay Foundation, a lover of good food, good wine and getting down to the rugged coastline of North Devon whenever I can to breathe the fresh sea air!
I work with the support of my wonderful business partner Jonathan Hennessey Brown who runs our sister company Hennessey Brown Music.
An Oasis Of Music
“There are so many possibilities with live music, not just your average covers band you see everywhere. By listening to my clients’ hopes and desires, I want to create an oasis of music that takes people away from the everyday and makes them feel alive and exhilerated. I love the way music connects people and gives them permission to let go.”
Working from a love and knowledge of all types of music, Cressida hand picks the finest talent and provides live music for private parties, corporate and brand events alongside weddings in the UK and abroad.
Look What Our Clients Say
“Hiring music for an event doesn’t need to be tricky anymore. Wislocki Music makes it all straight forward; quality musicians, at a fair price and with the peace of mind of dealing with a reputable organisation. I hired a saxophonist for my birthday. She arrived on time and played beautifully. Thank you!”
