Do I need insurance for the musicians?

We have public liability insurance as a company and all our musicians are insured. They all have PAT certificates for their equipment if required by your venue.

Can my band also provide a DJ service?

Our bands provide a playlist between their live sets and many of them can provide a DJ to play after they finish.

Can musicians play outdoors?

Musicians always require some cover to play outside to protect their instruments from the elements. This could be a gazebo, for example, or sometimes if there is a large doorway opening out onto a terrace, they can play just inside this, and still be heard by the guests outside.

Do I get charged by the hour?

Each group has a minimum fee, regardless of how short the playing time is. Generally, bookings are for around three hours, if it is for a ceremony and drinks reception or a band playing in the evening. It is possible to ask for the option of overtime on the day at an extra cost.

What is booking process?

Once we have found the perfect musicians for you, we will send you a booking confirmation form to sign and an invoice for a 50% deposit. The balance is then due two weeks before your event.

Can you help me choose the right music for my event?

Absolutely, we love to tailor the music perfectly to your tastes and we can make suggestions and work with you to get it just right.

Do I need to feed the musicians?

We ask that you provide some food and drinks for the musicians on the day. It doesn’t need to be a full three course meal though!

Look What Our Clients Say

“We had the pleasure of Anna (cellist) fabulous talents for a boat ride down the Thames. She went above and beyond for us; calling to the boat company directly to make sure everything ran smoothly, she put up with my ridiculous requests and our bride-to-be was so moved by the atmosphere created, that she was in floods of glorious happy tears! I hope I have many more reasons to use Wislocki Music in the future.”
